• There is an excellent summary of the 2005 energy bill at http://energy.senate.gov/public/_files/PostConferenceBillSummary.doc, but google reports no links to this document- Is simply sticking a document up on a .gov web site transparency?
  • This document was found because there were only two google hits on the phrase ""National Interest Electric Transmission Corridors", and one like was to a page on WP: page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Katefan0/Energy_Documents. Katefan0 retired from wikipedia, and is a policy analyst. What are the tools that this person used to get at policy information and analysis like the 2005 bill summary and republican analysis pasted into the body of the above page?

• the website globalwarming.house.gov (the special comittee on global warming) was offline for at least 2 days, perhaps more. (11/15 and 11/16). Who's doing maintenance at .gov? How is this even possible for the government of the most powerful nation on earth? Does this mean that internet access to government is not taken very seriously?
• Partybuilder at Democrats.com:
  • demonstrates an utter disregard for policy consideration in any depth
  • no collaborative effort of any kind on any discernable project
  • Political subjects are discussed at the level of tabloid journalism, where sensational and topics provoking strong emotional reactions attract "most popular" status.
  • What opportunities will the DNC offer internet citizens to serve? (other than direct soldiering in campaigns: phone banking, money donations)
  • What collaborative citizen input shall be supported by the Democratic National Party?
